Vembar is a small town on the shores of the Gulf of Mannar, in Tuticorin District. It is located near the district’s border with Ramanathapuram District, about 13 km south of Sayalkudi and around 7 km from Melmandai. Madurai is 97 km north-west while Tirunelveli is 85 km west.

Hello Sir, My grandfather is from Vembar. I have been there few times..... Few of my relatives are still there. What a small world!!!
